The Sakharnik culture house

The band was put together at the Sakharnik culture house in Meleuz by Anvar Tlyauberdin, Anatoly Latyshev, Oleg Ponomarev and Sergey Smagin, at first simply as Dvizhenie. Their satirical, tongue-in-cheek songs quickly reached recording kiosks, where they were copied onto cassettes.

The tape album Chao, bambino credits Tlyauberdin as songwriter and lead singer. The band later moved to Moscow and recorded at Vladimir Malgin’s studio. In 1990 Tlyauberdin left for a solo career, and in 2001 he re-recorded the old hits for Chao, bambino 2001. Anvar Tlyauberdin died in 2018; today Smagin and Ponomarev perform under the name with new singers.
